    My family complains when the butter bowl is empty!

    I've been using this now for a few months, and the family loves it. I either make butter from cream using my Thermomix®, or if I'm feeling lazy, I buy a block of butter. I find the trick is to whiz up the butter in the Thermomix® to soften before pressing it into the butter bowl. I use a silicone spatula to press it in firmly. Change the water every few days, and it's perfect!

    It works very well when I figured out how to use it. The butter bowl keeps my butter ready to spread evenly with the butter knife.

    Looks great but no instructions

    It was really hard to get out of the packaging, to the point I actually chipped it! Then it had no instructions on how to use it? Where to put the water, to what level? I have no idea and haven't use it yet.

    Thanks for your feedback Dawn, we do have some instructions on how to use it on the product display page found here - https://thermomix.com.au/products/butter-bowl The directions can be found under the "Hint and Tips" tab.

    We recommend adding about 1/3 of a cup of water to the base and pressing the butter down with the back a spoon to make sure it doesn't fall out. If you need more information please feel free to visit the link above. Hope that helps!

    Brilliant Butter Storage

    The ceramic bowl efficiently stores a full 250g block of butter with the cover design preventing lid contact with the butter while keeping ants away.

    The rose gold butter knife is brilliant - it's clever design allows easy spreading.

    Hi Lorraine, thanks for getting in touch. We do recommend keeping your bowl in an area where the temperature is below 27°C. During summer it might be best to keep the bowl in the fridge. Hope that helps!
