Did you know, correctly packing your fermentations releases the natural juices. The flat ends of our muddler are designed for lightly pounding vegetables, to gently break down their cell walls. It removes air bubbles and draws out the moisture. This is key to getting you off to a great start.
Made from Beechwood, our hand-crafted muddler features an ergonomic grip and a wide base that's ideal for packing generous quantities of sauerkraut, kimchi or giardiniera into the jars.

You can also use your muddler to create combinations of fruit and mint infused water or cocktails...anyone say mojitos!
Hand wash with warm soap and water only. After use, dry thoroughly. Occasional oiling using a food-safe mineral oil could help to lengthen the life of this product. Not dishwasher safe and should never be allowed to stand in water as it may damage the wood.
