Sous vide is a method of cooking we can't stop raving about. It utilizes precise temperature control with circulation to produce amazing results that you can’t achieve through any other cooking technique. The good news is sous vide doesn't have to be something you only enjoy in restaurants anymore, with our Vacuum Sealer and bags you can try the sous vide method in the comfort of your home.
We’ve pre-shaped and pre-cut these sous vide bags to fit the Thermomix bowl so home cooks can now get down-to-the degree control using the Sous Vide mode on the TM6. The Blade Cover will stop your bags and goods being chopped up so you can enjoy perfectly cooked meals. You will also be saving money and reducing food waste. The bags are sturdy and can be reused again and again. To clean simply put them into the dishwasher or rinse them with warm water and detergent.
Not only will the vacuum sealer help with sous vide but it will keep your food fresher for longer, so there will be less throwing out because food has gone bad. This vacuum sealer removes the oxygen, creating an inhospitable environment for bacteria, significantly slowing down nature's spoilage timeline. This considerably extends the freshness of your food.
It's so versatile, perfect for all types of food prepping, portion control, marinating meat, keeping pesto in the freezer, vegetables, nuts, leftover cheese and Thermomix stock. In season herbs, remove the air and deep freeze until needed.
If 5 bags isn't quite enough for your needs we also sell a pack of 10 Vacuum Sealer bags, separately. The bags can withstand temperate from -20°C up to 90°C
Measuring only 12cm in height, the handheld Vacuum Sealer is so compact you can even use it for picnics, camping or caravanning. It is recharged via USB cord, so you can use it with your laptop or any phone charger.
Please note: whilst these bags are reusable we don't recommend reusing any bags that have contained raw meat, eggs, milk or unpasteurized cheese as they may contain bacteria that will remain after washing.
You will need to purchase the Blade Cover separately if you are wanting to try Sous Vide.

1. Place your food inside the vacuum sealer bags and make sure the seal is closed. Make sure your food does not fill over the line in the top right hand corner as this may result in spillage
2. Place your vacuum sealer valve onto the top right hand side of the bag and hold down the button to start sucking the air out of the bag
3. Once all the air is vacuum out your vacuum sealer will automatically turn off
4. To clean the bags empty them and rinse with warm water and a light detergent. (Please note the bags are not suitable to be re-used if they contained meat, eggs, milk or unpasteurized cheese as they may contain bacteria that will remain after washing).

Recommend this its better than having to drag out the electric one from cupboard. So handy pick up and ready to go bags are good quality to.
Best device ever purchased. Love it
That's great news Kaye! Thanks for the review
I was pleasantly surprised to see just how easy this product is to use. I previously had an expensive and large vacuum sealer which was not used very often due to the size and time taken to plug in and also the cleaning afterwards.
This is small, USB chargeable and light. The bags are great to use.
What a great review, Sandra! We're so glad you are enjoying your Vacuum Sealer, it is such a handy little device, great for camping and travelling too. Thanks very much for the feedback.
I marinated some chicken breast, followed the instructions and kept the marinade away from the seal. When using the pump, the marinade is sucked into the seal and stops working. My previous method of submerging snap lock bags worked better for me. However, all is not lost. I think the thermi bags and pump would be great with dry rubs.
Hi Alicia, thanks for your feedback and sorry you have been having issues with your Vacuum Sealer. To avoid liquid being sucked up the valve, I would recommend holding your Vacuum Sealer bag over a counter so that the airhole is placed on the counter and the bag is hanging down. From here the countertop should stop any liquid from being sucked up the sealer when being used. Hope that helps!
