It’s fully collapsible, with a sturdy but lightweight aluminium frame and comfy handles, and so much more stylish than reusable totes and cooler bags.
Inspired by our new denim apron design, our Thermomix Consultants wanted to give the insulated carry bag a make-over for taking ingredients to Cooking Experiences, so we got to work and we’re loving the result!
To give it that gorgeous denim look, we sourced a durable polyester blend that’s easy to wipe clean, made it leak-proof and waterproof with PVC backing, insulated the carry basket with a heavy-duty foam and mylar lining and gave it a zip-close lid to keep ingredients cooler (or hotter) for longer on the go. Oh, and we added feet to keep it raised and dry on wet surfaces.
Just like our original basket, it’s built to last and holds up to 30 kilos, with a tough yet light-weight aluminium frame and handles, but with new grippy pleather handle covers to make it more comfortable to carry and complement the denim perfectly. And it’s fully collapsible for easy storage when not in use.
Keep your foldable insulated carry basket in the car for taking to your local growers’ market and keeping your fresh fruits and leafy greens cool and crisp, or your supermarket to keep your frozen goods chilled. It holds a massive amount of shopping. And as an insulated picnic basket it’ll keep all your cool drinks, fresh sandwiches, barbecue ingredients and homemade desserts chilled. Great basket but disappointed
I bought this specifically to carry around the large grazing box from thermomix mix as the dimensions of the carry basket listed are larger than the grazing box but unfortunately it does not fit. I should have double checked. I did not account for the frame. The carry basket does look sturdy & is a good size. Double zips are great too.

I use this often, so I’ve definitely discovered some flaws.
The metal around the top interferes with the zip and it’s really quite difficult to zip open/closed without having to pull material higher. It’s clunky.

Hi Lyndsey, we have found that if we adjusted all of the tabs that attach the bag to the silver frame and lifted the bag a little bit higher than the frame it worked MUCH better! We hope that helps.
