Shearing of blade base
The Blade has sheared off from the base. We have had the Thermomix unit for just over 2 years. The product has been working fine so this problem is a great surprise. Would like to know if this is a normal occurrence with the machined items of a Thermomix. We are concerned about quality and reliability.

It's a trusty workhorse!
I now have three blades and two bowls. I cook (and blend) our dogs' meat, grind spices for curry nights, and mill flour for homemade gluten-free bread, nut roast and treats. It's a trusty workhorse!
