A must have!
I use the trivet every time I use the Varoma. It allows the steam to circulate much better on the base level and cooks things more evenly than without it, especially around the outer edges. It’s because the veggies or whatever you’re cooking are not blocking the holes and it allows the stream to reach the outer circle of the base.
