These lids does not fit straight out of the box. Unfortunately I did not read any reviews before I bought it. Based on comments on other reviews the only way to make the lid fit is by putting in hot water and then fit. In my view this does not make it very useful for dry ingredients or longevity.
Totally unsuitable. Don't fit at all. Tried hot water and still no luck. Should have read the reviews before purchasing!

These are impossible to get on the jars.
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing 2 sets.
I agree you need a good seal for spice etc but there's a good seal and then there is just way too tight. I've tried the suggested hot water but still no luck I'm worried they will just crack as it's quite brittle looking plastic.
Thermomix need to go back to the design team for these, they are beyond useless. Glad I didn't pay full price.

LID IS TOO TIGHT AND NOT FLEXIBLE MATERIALS EITHER.
one lid is broken 'se it was not smoothly fit in the jar. (I informed it, but didn't have exchange or refund for it yet) Somehow I tried another lid with support of Sarah -my agent, it desn't sealed air properly, so my spices getting harden.
