Thank goodness for the Thermomix ThermoMat! This no-fuss, no-mess, non-stick baking mat is a no-brainer if you’re proving dough, rolling and measuring pastry or dough, or getting creative with rissoles, scrolls or hot sugar work.
Made from durable flexible silicone, the ThermoMat can handle temperatures from -40°C up to 280°C. You can use it for rolling, wrapping and proving dough for bread or pizza, then shape it, and put it straight in the oven to bake on the mat. Or use it as a roll-up pastry mat to cool your pastry in the fridge. Set tempered chocolate. Roll sushi. Roll roulades. Just roll with it!
A quick wipe down with a soft cloth and warm soapy water is the best way to clean your ThermoMat. Avoid using abrasive scrapers or brushes. It’s also not suitable for use in dishwashers, gas ovens, under an open grill, directly on the bottom of the oven or on or under a direct heat source. Never cut on the mat and always store your baking mat rolled, not folded.
Great product. Easy to roll up or store dough in. As I find it a little sticky so to store I roll it up in a tea towel.
Really helps handle biscuit dough then I rolled it up in the mat and put it in the fridge
