yes I blitz mine mistake now am good again
I’ve found the cutter to have poor functionality and performance. The feed shoot is far too small and means you have to cut up almost everything in order to be able to feed it into the cutter. The cutter struggles to cut softish food or food that is fibrous - I don’t know whether this is because the blades aren’t a sharp as they need to be or because the blade spins too slowly on the preset cutting and grating programs. In my opinion, the pricetag doesn’t justify the very limited functionality, usability or performance of the cutter. I get a far, far better result with my mini food processor.
Hi Adam,
The cutter can take some time getting used to. We highly recommended reading the welcome booklet that comes with your Thermomix Cutter as this will provide you with hints and tips on using the attachment and which produce works best. If you need extra assistance, please let us know or reach out to your consultant and they'd be more than happy to help.
I make a lot of sliced, spicy cucumbers when in season and have a really cheap food processor, so when I saw this I thought why not??? I used it on potatoes the other week to make a potato back and loved it ... chose the thin option and it was great .... so that got me thinking that if I do the potatoes again and arrange nicely in the tray and then pour melted butter and fresh rosemary over them I might have a different option to plain roasting ... time with tell
Not sure I have used it enough to get the full benefit of the cutter. I need to work on it more I think.
