All three bowls are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning, but we recommend washing the lids by hand to avoid warping at high temperatures. Before using your new mixing bowl set for the first time, or in the unlikely event that you haven’t used them for a while, handwash your mixing bowls and lids with mild soap and warm water.
For removing stuck-on food, soak in warm water to loosen and avoid washing with harsh, high-alkaline detergents and abrasive cleaners and scrubbing pads. And while they won’t scratch as easily as ceramic or glass, always use wooden or silicone utensils, as metal ones can compromise the non-stick mirror finish on the inside of the mixing bowls.

I wanted to love these bowls but…
The lids on all three of my bowls will not stay on. I’ve tried putting the lids on while they were warm in an attempt to reshape them, but they still pop straight off.
Your website states that “your stainless steel mixing bowls with lids won’t absorb or leach any unwanted flavours into your stored foods and keep them fresher for longer with an air-tight seal.” Unfortunately, there is no air-tight seal at all as described.
It’s disappointing when you expect quality and receive a product that doesn’t function as intended. There are also plenty of other reviews mentioning the same issue with the lids, so it doesn’t appear to be an isolated case, nor one that Thermomix have taken on board to try and rectify the issue.
I absolutely love the quality of Thermomix products generally, but these bowls are a definite fail if you’re specifically looking for something with secure lids.

Great for prep, not so much for storage
Great stainless steel bowls with pouring lips and easy to hold handles. But the lids don't stay on! It's not one lid, none in my set are tight/secure for storage.
