The accidental beginning

Having been a Thermomix® owner since 2011 with her trusty TM31, Kym thought she was simply upgrading when she spotted the TM6 at a local market. Cookidoo®, guided cooking, and all the new features had her hooked.

But when her Consultant asked her to host a Cooking Demo, she hesitated. Busy running a law firm, managing a farm, and juggling family life, time was precious. Still, she agreed to a quick lunchtime demo at her workplace — and that decision changed everything.

“It was actually my team who planted the seed,” Kym laughs. “They wanted Thermomix® too, and suggested I become a Consultant to help them get theirs.”

At the time, she had no intention of staying beyond earning her TM6. But as she discovered, sometimes saying yes opens unexpected doors.

First taste of success

Kym’s first Cooking Demo was relaxed and natural — a chance to share what she already loved. Then came the real surprise: she earned her first incentive before she’d even secured her free Thermomix®.

“I actually earned the Kobold robotic vacuum before my Thermomix®, which was very exciting and got me addicted to incentives,” she admits.

From that moment on, she was hooked.
