Blog — International Women's Day
“Women put in a lot of hard yards, get their heads down, continue with the day-to-day, just getting stuff done because that's what needs to be done. So, it's great to have International Women’s Day where we’re reminded to stand back, give ourselves a pat on the back and actually look at what we’ve achieved.”
“It’s important to take time to reflect on and recognise the women whose incredible tenacity, hard work and achievements have paved the way for us to be where we are today. To realise how lucky we are, but also to address the areas that need improvement. There’s no gender gap here at Thermomix®, but as a nation we still have much work to do on improving gender equality across the board.”
“We all have such busy lives, and time passes us by so quickly. So, it's important to stop and acknowledge the achievements of the women who have gone before us. Women who have shown us what’s possible, proving that we can absolutely do anything when we focus on nurturing our well-being and a healthy mindset.”
"The role of women has evolved so much, and it has not been easy for those who've gone before us. So, we should absolutely recognise and celebrate the progress we've made and acknowledge there's still distance to go. If we continue to talk about it and highlight it, we can forge a gender-equal world."
