In compliance with new Australian Standards, the Ovana Portable Pizza Oven now comes with an LCC27 gas regulator connection. This connection only works with new gas bottles with a matching LCC27 valve. The previous fitting (Type 21/POL) connects to both old and new gas bottles.

Using our carry cover, it's super easy to take your Ovana with you to friends or away on holidays. However, be sure to check relevant permits for cooking in public areas if you're thinking about taking it to a park or beach for example.
The Ovana Pizza Oven is compatible with LPG propane. It is not designed to be used with natural gas. Details on which gas to use and connecting the bottle to your Ovana Pizza Oven are available on page 6 and 9 of the instruction manual.

Set your Ovana up outside in a well-ventilated area on a heatproof surface like tiles, stone, marble, stainless steel or concrete surfaces.
If you have an old gas cylinder with a POL connection it will not be compatible. The new appliance with the LCC27 gas regulator will only connect to a gas bottle with the new LCC27 valve and will not be able to be connected to an old cylinder valve. The gas bottles with the old POL valve will be phased out over time.
Great little pizza oven, however, I have 2 complaints! 1. The door handle is flimsy and loose and the door falls off when trying to heat up, and;
The large Peel needs to be redesigned, with no holes in it, as the semolina just falls through and causes a mess! I’ve purchased an alternative brand large peel.
Love the oven, cooks amazing pizzas. But the door sticks when heated and had to us tool to get it off which stretched the paint on first use.
Also the oven discolours from heat around the opening.
These don't effect the cooking but for the price was a bit disappointing for it not to say nice.
