Go nuts with crushed or whole nuts, seeds, spices, dried or freeze-dried fruits and peels, crystallised ginger, biscuity bits, pretzel pieces, rice bubbles, cacao nibs, dried rose petals or toasted coconut. Fill the silicone chocolate bar moulds and leave to cool and set at room temperature. Or if it’s a warm day, pop them in the fridge.
And for your next party dessert trick, coat the mould with chocolate, whip up a quick creamy ice cream (dairy or dairy-free) or rich chocolate mousse in your Thermomix, then fill and chill the silicone chocolate bar and ice cream moulds to set in the fridge or freezer. You’ll love the way they effortlessly peel and pop out perfectly formed bars, so there’s no need to use sharp utensils that can damage the silicone chocolate block moulds. And you’ll love how easy they are to clean. Just lay the moulds face-down in the top-drawer of your dishwasher. Before first use, or to remove any stuck-on ingredients, hand wash with a soft cloth in mild soapy water.
Fridge and freezer safe, they withstand heat up to 220°C in the oven and microwave. But keep away from direct heat such as hotplates and naked flames.
