So we’ve kept our ceramic fermentation crock pot true to tradition, with two weights and a water seal to maintain a controlled environment for your creations to naturally bubble away and achieve the best results.

Very awkward to remove fermented veg from pot to jars to store. Even though I was careful, my first ferment went mouldy on top after 3 days. I think it would be easier using a glass jar, rather than the ferment pot.
Hi Sandi, don't give up just yet! It's important the brine that completely covers your ingredients. Be sure to fill the water seal at the top of the crock with water before placing the lid on. This will create a seal to stop bugs and bacteria entering your crock. Makes healthy fermented vegetables easy
Cannot fault the crock. Seems really well made and fantastic value compared to other retailers - giving it 4 stars simply because of the amount of time it took to receive it - needed it as a Christmas gift and ordered 6 weeks beforehand. Arrived just in the nick of time. It was a bit annoying to have to chase it up as I received no communication - was told they were 6 weeks behind on orders. Company obviously needs to ensure they employ sufficient staff at peak times instead of stressing both customers and their obviously overworked staff.
Thanks for your feedback Teresa, we're so glad you are happy with your fermentation crock. We're sorry about the delay in receiving your crock, unfortunately, due to covid restrictions and shipping delays, some of our products have been taking longer than usual to arrive. We understand this can be frustrating and apologise for any inconvenience it has caused.
